Balayage is a French hair coloring technique that creates very natural looking, sun kissed highlights. These hand painted highlights can be used on any hair color, from blonde to brunette to red. The word “balayage” is the French word meaning “to sweep” which is a reference to how the color is applied. Another plus of this technique is that it requires less maintenance than traditional highlighting.
